How our platform works and what to expect when you book through Mawid.

Mawid is a digital booking platform for beauty and wellness services.
Mawid operates mawid.co and related mobile applications as a booking platform for beauty and wellness services. Through our platform, you can discover and book services such as haircuts, skincare, massage, manicure, and other treatments from businesses that offer their services on Mawid.
When you book through Mawid, you enter into an agreement directly with the service provider you choose. Mawid connects you with the provider — they deliver the service.
By using our platform, you agree to these terms.
To book services or create an account on Mawid, you need to:
You log in using a one-time code sent to your email address. If you suspect someone has accessed your account without your permission, contact us immediately.
All service providers on Mawid are registered businesses. We do not allow private individuals to offer services through the platform.
After you complete a booking, you will receive a confirmation on screen and by email, and in some cases by SMS. This confirmation contains the details of your appointment.
Please arrive on time at the service provider. If you booked on behalf of someone else, make sure they have a copy of the booking confirmation.
For questions about a specific service, contact the service provider directly using the details in your booking confirmation.
Prices shown on Mawid include tax and are displayed in the currency set by the service provider. Service providers may update their prices at any time — changes apply to bookings made after the update.
Payment is made directly at the venue. Available payment methods depend on what the service provider offers, typically cash or payment at the venue.
You can cancel a booking in any of these ways:
Each service provider sets their own free cancellation window. Check your booking confirmation for the specific deadline.
If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel too late, the service provider may charge a no-show fee up to the full cost of the service.
After completing a booking, you can leave a review. Your first name is displayed with the review — last names are never shown. Reviews cannot be edited after submission.
Mawid reserves the right to remove reviews that contain offensive content, violate any applicable law, or appear to be fraudulent. By submitting a review, you grant Mawid the right to display it on the platform.
Search results are sorted based on relevance, distance from your location, availability, ratings, and how well services match what you are looking for.
Some service providers may pay for increased visibility in search results. These are clearly marked. You can also use filters to sort by rating, price, or other preferences.
You can manage your personal information, favorites, and notification preferences in your account settings.
You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed in accordance with our privacy policy.
The Mawid platform and its content are owned by Mawid or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of the platform without written permission.
Service providers are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, descriptions, and images. Mawid is not responsible for content provided by service providers.
Mawid is a platform that connects you with service providers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of services delivered by providers.
We are not liable for any indirect or unforeseen damages arising from your use of the platform, unless caused by our negligence.
If circumstances beyond reasonable control — such as natural disasters, conflicts, pandemics, or infrastructure disruptions — prevent either party from fulfilling their obligations, performance may be postponed.
We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms apply to bookings made after the changes take effect. For significant changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email.
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it together.
If we are unable to reach a resolution, disputes will be settled through neutral arbitration.
